Norco Fair Time

I have been going to the Norco Fair since I was little. It was always something to do on Labor Day Weekend when we didn't go out of town. We had a few friends come over and met a few there. It was fun eating fair food but I was definately shocked at the raised price to get in. I have never in my life paid 15 bucks to get into the Norco Fair, I think the most I've paid has been 5. I'll stop complaining now about the price but next year I'm not paying 15 bucks, I'd rather wait a week and go to the LA Fair HAHAHA
Here's a picture of Gavin and Grant, Gav was digging all the lights on the rides

We played some carni games and won some cheesy prizes. At one point I got everyone to play a game, there was like 7 of us playing and one little boy that wasn't with us, figures the kid won HAHAHA Losers
We decided to go check out the Rodeo, they were doing Toro Totter. You may remember this from Jackass the movie, 2 crazy people on a teeter totter jump up in the air as the mean bull runs under them. Crazyyyyyy
Here's Cindy and her new Cowboy Friends up on the Horse Coral watching the show

Lunch with Friends

Bethany and I have been friends for nearly 10 years now! We met in dental assisting school which both of us never pursued, we like to think we gained eachother from taking the class:) Unfortunately due to both our hectic schedules we rarely get to see eachother. Bethany has the biggest heart of anyone I know, she is a single mother of a Wonderful 8 year old son, Xavier and is raising 6 foster children. That's right I didn't stutter 7 children all by herself. All of the children are so fortunate to have her in their lives, she is not only their mother, she is their friend. They all bring so much joy to her life, I know she would take 10 more kids if she had the room:)

However, even Super Mom needs a break every once in a while and this was one of those days. Bethany's brother Matt was kind enought to babysit for the night. Bethany decided to check into a hotel with her son Xavier and Niece Emily for a little R&R. They were kind enough to meet Gavin and I at Olive Garden for a Yummy lunch and lots of catching up.
Here's a Pic of Bethany, Gavin & I

It takes a strong woman with a huge heart to be a foster mom. Bethany I admire your heart and patience, you really make each child feel so special and have helped every single child who you've allowed in your home and heart. Hopefully we don't have to wait another year to see eachother again:)

Fantasy Football & Wine Tasting

Hello Everyone! This was another busy weekend for us:) Gavin and I went to visit Grandma Marsha on Friday! She is feeling much better now and is glad to be home and in her comfortable bed/house and out of the hospital. She is finally getting her appetite back YEAH!!! We're still waiting to hear about the biopsy results, Let's all hold a good thought:)

Saturday Grant had all the guys coming over for there Fantasy Football Draft. Grant got pick number 7 and wasn't very happy with that. Hopefully his team pulls through for him and wins him some money!!! Gwenett came over with the kiddos so we watched movies in our room and went for a walk around the block. Jacob wanted to see some horses and Gwenett and I had the kids in our baby bjorn's. We were on our last long stretch home and Jake decided he didn't want to walk anymore. Gwenett is a trooper and carried him on her back and Mia on her front, the things mom's do for kiddos LOL

Here's Grant and Gavin in Charger's Gear Ready For the Draft to Start

We have been wanting to take Grandma Pearle "GG" wine tasting for a few months now. Sunday was the perfect day for a picnic and some tasting. GG, Gwenett, Isaac, Mia (we left Jacob with Grandma Marsha), Lacey, Brandon, Dean, Scooter, Zelda, Buddy, Grant, Gavin and myself all met up at Wilson Creek for a wonderful afternoon. It was so nice to see all the babies together!

We were planning on going "Tasting" at a few wineries. That soooo did not happen. I believe we bought 20 bottles of wine and only Grant and GG actually did a tasting. Let's just say with the exception of Lacey and Myself, everyone had a little tooooo much to drink.
Here are the boys with there cigars & wine, so sophisticated :)

We had a Wonderful action packed afternoon. We stayed until they kicked us out at 6pm. There are so many hilarious drunk stories that I would like to share with you all but alas "What Happens At The Winery Stays At The Winery". I highly recommend taking your family to Wilson Creek, they have a huge picnic area and playground for the kids. Also I find it Hilarious that the only person that didn't have a hangover was GG, and believe me she should have LOL Grant asked our Favorite 91 year old what her secret is and she wouldn't tell :) Love You GG

Football, Family & Friends

We had another busy weekend! Friday afternoon Amanda came over to visit and we decided on Tom's Farm's for lunch. We ate some yummy sandwiches and walked around the stores, of course buying guacamole:) Amanda had never been there and definately wants to take her kids there soon! Sorry no Pics.

Saturday afternoon Gavin and I met Jamie and the girls for lunch at Rodrigo's! Gavin decided he was tired and slept the entire time. It was a nice visit, always amusing to hear the girls chatting amongst eachother, they say the funniest things. Again, no pics.

Saturday evening was the first Charger's pre season game. Grant was excited to sit with his son and watch his first football game together. Gavin on the other hand wasn't nearly as excited and fell asleep before the game started. Grant bought a little Charger football for Gavin, on the back of the box it said "perfect for little hands" so cute:) Here are my boys in there Chargers Gear!!!

Sunday we went to Gary & Marsha's house for a BBQ and poker. Gavin just adores his Great Grandma Pearle "GG", I think the feeling is mutual:)

All of the kids were swimming and Gavin was looking like he wanted to get in the pool and play. We put on his board shorts and he was crying before he hit the water, it was toooooo cold for his little toes. Here's a pic of Daddy & Son in the Pool.

Exciting Weekend

I want to say Congrats to Lacey and Brandon who welcomed Dean Jackson Donatelli into the world on Friday 08/01/08!!! For those of you whom don't know her, Lacey is my co-worker and we have been anxiously waiting little Dean's arrival! I have been watching her belly grow for 10 months (or barely grow until the last week~lol) and through Lacey I got to hear about all the pregnacy related symptoms that I never got to experience myself because Gavin was so early. I already miss her soooo much at work and can't wait to meet Dean this weekend! Here's a picture of Dean that I stole from Lacey. I can't wait for Gavin & Dean to be Best Friends:) Great Job Lacey & Bub he's Adorable!
Photobucket
If you would like to hear more Dean details check out Lacey's blog http://laceydonatelli.blogspot.com

Saturday Morning Grant went riding on his Dirt Bike so Gavin and I decided to go to Tom's Farm. We met Jamie for breakfast at Panera~yummy and then stopped by her house to see her family. The girls just Love Gavin and are going to make Wonderful Big Sisters, hopefully sometime soon. We hung out for about an hour and made our way to Tom's Farms. I put Gavin in the Baby Bjorn and we walked around the furniture store and then went to buy some food!!! They have the most delicious homemade french bread for 1 dollar so of course I bought 2:) We then proceeded to the candy/fruit store where we bought some huge strawberries and kiwis and of course the main reason we went was to get some of the best Guacamole ever!!! I can't wait to go again with Grant so we can go visit the petting zoo.

We spent Sunday afternoon with my friend Stefanie and her family! Nick made the best carne asada tacos YUMMMMMM The boys watched golf and talked fantasy football while us girls gossiped and caught up on eachothers lives. Sounds like Stacy just snagged a real catch, I can't wait to met him... wink.
