San Diego Family Christmas

Saturday morning we woke up bright and early to go visit all our family in San Diego for Christmas :) Uncle David works night shift so he got home from work at 8am...we showed up at 9am for some delicious breakfast!

Look what Aunt Linda Made Grant! In Honor of his Father...isn't is Awesome :) Aunt Linda it's so Special and We Love it! The spare bedrooms walls are lined with amazing wreaths Aunt Linda has been making...if you need a wreath you should buy one from her! I explained Pinterest and Etsy to her so hopefully she can get some new ideas for new wreaths and start selling some online!
Gavin was in Heaven walking around their awesome jungle backyard...it's so Beautiful and green and he enjoyed finding new places to hide
They also let him pick any ornament he wanted off the tree!!! Needless to say he talked them into 3 new ornaments off their tree...Thanks You Guys that was very nice of you and made Gavin feel very special :)
Aunt Linda had a little sleigh decoration...Gage was a little to big for it :)
Thanks for inviting us over Aunt Linda and Uncle David...breakfast was awesome, it was great catching up and we love all our new Christmas Decorations!

Next Stop...Solano Beach to see Chelsea and Chet :) We met up at the cutest cupcake shop called Cupcake Love...the frosting was perfect, not too sweet and everything was YUMMY! Good suggestion Chelsea!
It was awesome seeing you guys and catching up over cupcakes
Next Stop...Cardiff by the Sea to see GG! When we got to her nursing home we didn't see her with the group, the Nurse joked that she was in "time out" in front of her door. She was upset that they wouldn't let her in her room without supervision! The Nurse was very excited walking with us down the hall towards GG because she instantly recognized us (doesn't happen all the time she's almost 94) and was soooo surprised and excited to see us!

Gavin helped her unwrap her present
New Purple Sweater and Necklace! All she really wanted was the kids...she kept saying give me my baby I need to show my friends lol
Walking into a Nursing home with a Baby and a Three Year Old is Amazing...You would think these people won the lottery they get so excited! I had a variety of woman follow me (the baby) around and one even petted my hair like a dog lol
GG and her Boys
Kissy Lips...She could stare at him all day
 Love this Woman
The Place was decorated Beautifully for the Holidays
Gavin decided to take some pictures with the camera
 Handsome Daddy
He walked around and took pictures of every single patient and Nurse in the building...they all loved it...GG thought it was hilarious
It was Wonderful Seeing You GG...Hopefully we get to see you at Christmas

Next Stop...Cardiff Beach! It was a very quick trip but the one Gavin looked forward to most
I can't even describe how Beautiful the Sunset was
I think Gage even enjoyed the beach

Mission Inn~Cabin

A few weeks ago we went to the Mission Inn to see the lights and meet Santa! I can't find my Santa picture so I am going to steal and scan my Mom's then I'll post it. Gage was snoozing the entire time :)
Grant holding his Mini-Me Gage, Shalyn, Grandpa Bruce and Gavin
The Mission Inn was Beautiful but WAY to CROWDED for my taste

I got this Insurance claim in the mail...glad it says I'm NOT responsible for over 1/2 Million Dollars. I'm sure another one of these will be coming in the mail shortly, we got two of these huge bills for Gavin totaling over 800k
This past weekend was Grant's B-Day! We go to Big Bear every year so he can snowboard for FREE :) It's a family tradition and Gavin was so excited to go. We had to stop and see Santa and Mrs Claus with her crazy eye makeup and teeth
Love this huge tree in the village
DK, Denisse and Ariel met us there
Grant had a Great Birthday...he's getting old though and with his knee hurting only boarded 1/2 day.Gavin was happy he only boarded half day because Daddy met him at the tubing place!!!

Happy Birthday Honey! We Love You So Much XOXO In other news Denisse has given the OK to start planning her Wedding!!! We're going to look at a place on Sunday :) Hopefully she loves it and with a location decided we can go look at dresses!!!

Visual DNA Test

Do Yourself a Favor and click the link below and take the visual dna test...it's awesome and so accurate :)

You're a Striver. Confident and sociable, you're a really good listener too and are generous with your time when it comes to helping others. Your friends know where to come if they want some really good advice. You have tons of infectious energy and lots of natural enthusiasm. You tend to be committed when it comes to achieving your goals in life. You set high standards for yourself and others and like to keep your eye on the prize. Resourcefulness is definitely one of your finest strengths. When you get excited about something, you have the confidence and passion to inspire all those around you. You might be feeling stuck in the same old routine at the moment. You could probably do with a bit of a shift to get out of the monotony. Remember: A change is as good as a rest. When it comes to improving things in your life, why would you say no to extra cash? It would be great to treat the family whenever you feel like it. The trick is to be disciplined about budgeting. If you stay on top of your finances, you'll feel a lot more secure and probably save a bit too. Life's all about options. Allow yourself to be excited by possibility and potential. Try not to push to know the answer all the time. There will be lots of twists and turns in life. Rather than wishing away the journey, try to live in the moment and enjoy every bump in the road! Challenge yourself to try new experiences and live life to the fullest. Remember that you can't be upbeat and outgoing 100 percent of the time. It's okay to tune out and look inward every now and again. In fact, we encourage it! Family time is precious to you. It helps you refill your tank and stay positive about life. After all, it's the stuff all those magical memories are made of. Make sure to seize every opportunity for big family gatherings that boost your spirit and remind you of what matters most.
